Christmas time always makes me think of family. This year, I get to go and visit them all in Toronto. I am most excited about seeing my little nephew and witnessing my sister as a mom.
In memory, here is a little post I wrote about my sister last year...
There is a space that exists between a new dress and an honest opinion, a good cry and a painful tummy laugh, a good story and a better listener, self doubt andreassurance, egg shells and freedom, fruit alone and chocolate together, fear to do anything and confidence to do something, complaining and being told to get over it, nothing fits and feeling beautiful from the inside out.
And then you buy a new dress.
It always come full circle. It involves a lot of talk, little money, few tears, inevitable laughter and undeniable love.
It is sisterhood. It is us.
Also, its Christmas time and I just can't help listening to this.
Merry Christmas folks!
